Abstract:: The Wharton Sinkler Estate (also known as Lane's End, Guildford, or the Rotan Estate) is located in Wyndmoor, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. The mansion was built by Samuel P. Rotan and Allethaire Ludlow Crummer in 1925 and used by the University of Pennsylvania as the Wharton Sinkler Conference Center from 1971 to 1999. The Springfield Township Historical Society Wharton Sinkler Estate collection, 1926-2002, consists primarily of records relating to the University of Pennsylvania's subdivision and sale of the property, 1998-2002, with some additional materials relating to the history of the property and its inhabitants. Of special interest is a photograph album of the mansion's construction.

Abstract:: The Women's Club of Flourtown in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, was formally established in 1941 as the Whitemarsh Valley Woman's Club. It was part of the General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC), an organization uniting local community service, volunteer, and charitable women's groups. The Women's Club of Flourtown records, 1966-1992, are comprised of publicity clipping scrapbooks, files on events, meeting minutes, and other records of the club.

Abstract:: Tyler Arboretum, in Media (Delaware County), Pennsylvania, sits on land that was owned for over 250 years by members of the Minshall, Painter, and Tyler families, who used it as a working farm and summer residence. During the mid 19th century, brothers Minshall and Jacob Painter planted over 1,000 types of trees and shrubs, many of them exotic, on the property. In 1944, Tyler Arboretum was established through a bequest of Laura Hoopes Tyler (1859-1944), named for her husband. The John J. Tyler Arboretum records, 1944-2014, consist of administrative records, correspondence, financial papers, historical research and other materials relating to Tyler Arboretum.

Abstract:: The Associated Alumni of the Central High School of Philadelphia is an association of alumni of Central High School, the second oldest continuous high school in the United States. The Associated Alumni support the various activities of the magnet school through financial donations, volunteering and maintaining a presence at events, providing networking opportunities for students, involvement with recruitment, advising student groups, and other activities. The alumni organization traces its roots to Central High School's first graduating class in 1842. The Associated Alumni of the Central High School of Philadelphia records, circa 1860-2014, consist of minutes, financial records, correspondence, scrapbooks, membership materials, publications, and other materials.
