Overview and metadata sections
A group of citizens of the Borough of Trappe, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania met in November of 1910 to begin organizing a volunteer fire-fighting company for the area. Trappe Fire Company Number 1 was still in operation as Trappe Fire and EMS Company as of 2012.
This collection consists of nine volumes of meeting minutes, 1910-1986, 23 audiocassette tapes, 1975-1976, and several notebooks with attendance records. The newer minute books include attendance lists and financial reports. The audiocassettes are likely recordings of meetings.
