Abstract:
The Professional Nurse Educators Group was formed in 1969 by the American Nurses Association's Council on Continuing Education (later Professional Development) that was disbanded in 1999. Since 2000 the Group continues to hold unofficial conferences to meet the networking and educational needs of its members. Documents in this collection include annual conference materials, communications and report, and publications.

Dr. Stringer was a Professor in Women’s Health Nursing at the University of Pennsylvania. Her clinical scholarship focused on the promotion of a healthy pregnancy and the reduction of preterm births for high-risk women. This collection consists primarily of papers which Marilyn Stringer prepared and received at conferences, workshops, and other professional activities. It also contains correspondence, photographs, certificates, and other materials.
