Abstract:: "Records of Quaker Discipline in Pennsylvania, 1682-1776," by Jack D. Marietta, provides a code that tracks offenses in Pennsylvania Monthly Meetings from 1682 to 1776. The code includes the name of the offender, sex of the individual, the Monthly and Quarterly Meeting, the date, the number of offenses, the type of offense (coded), and the resolution of the case (coded). Abstract:: Quakers Uniting in Publications (QUIP) is a group founded in 1983 to promote production and distribution of Quaker materials. It is an international network of organizations and individuals that work to make Quaker publications more accessible and to support the production of Quaker publications through forums, conferences, annual meetings, and collaborative projects. This collection includes documents concerning the group's formation, membership lists, treasurer's records, correspondence, annual and midyear meetings, and catalogs. Additional donations in 2006 and 2012 expanded the collection to include submissions, drafts, and the production process of Whispers of Faith: Young Friends share their experiences of Quakerism (2005) and Spirit Rising: Young Quaker Voices (2010).

Abstract:: This history of Middletown Friends Meeting spans from 1686 to 1986, and begins by describing how early Friends in Chester County met in family homes, and the history of building the meeting house in 1699. The history describes the Middletown Meeting's reactions to various historical issues, including European American treatment of Native Americans and slavery and abolition. At the back of the volume is a Middletown Monthly Meeting Membership List from February, 1986.
