Abstract:: Kiwanis Club is an international, co-educational service club founded in 1915 in Detroit, Michigan, which commits volunteer hours to serve children and strengthen communities. The Kiwanis club of Jenkintown was chartered in 1949 through the sponsorship of the Kiwanis Club of Glenside. The Kiwanis Club of Jenkintown records are a gift of the club, consisting of 13 linear feet of material housed in 32 boxes. The collection spans from 1949 to 2014 and comprises chronological files, administrative records, financial, and membership records, as well as publications and memorabilia.

Abstract:: Daniel Glosband was one of the primary draftsmen of Chapter 15 of the Bankruptcy Code, which was enacted as part of The Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act (BAPCPA) in 2005. Drafting began in as early as 1997. The Daniel Glosband Papers: 2005 Bankruptcy Reform, is a small collection comprised of five series: Administrative Records; Drafts, 2000; Drafts, 1999; United States Advisory Group; and Chapter 15 Rules.

Abstract:: Roswell B. Perkins was President of the American Law Institute from 1980 to 1993 and served as Chair of the Council from 1993 to 2008. An expert in the field of corporate governance, Perkins played a major role in the drafting of the Principles of Corporate Governance: Analysis and Recommendations. The collection includes Perkins' files on this project as well as correspondence and subject files from his time as President of the American Law Institute.

Abstract:: The Judge Dolores Sloviter papers, 1965-2012, consists of material documenting Sloviter's active involvement in the legal profession. Dolores Korman Sloviter graduated with her LL.B. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School (now known as University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School) in 1956 where she was one of eight women in her graduating class. She was appointed to the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit in 1979 and served as Chief Judge from 1991 to 1998. The collection contains correspondence, reports, and news clippings that document Sloviter's time serving on the Third Circuit and her involvement in professional legal organizations. The collection also includes speeches that Sloviter gave at seminars/colloquia where she often spoke on the history and current role of women in the legal profession.
