The Swarthmore Horticultural Society was founded in 2001 as a volunteer organization dedicated to enhancing the public spaces in the Borough of Swarthmore, Delaware County, PA. It was established by the Cresson Horticultural Trust and is supported by individuals and community groups including the Swarthmore Centennial Foundation, Swarthmore Garden Club, Scott Foundation, and local businesses. A formal Board, Bylaws, committee and succession structure were established in 2010.

Contains the records of the Swarthmore Horticultural Society, founded in 2001 and dedicated to enhancing the public spaces in the Borough of Swarthmore, Delaware County, PA.
