Abstract:: The Historical Society of Montgomery County scrapbooks collection, 1839-1982, consists primarily of scrapbooks compiled by various individuals, along with some compiled by HSMC staff and volunteers. The majority have a local focus and consist primarily of newspaper clippings. There are scrapbooks devoted to prominent local citizens, nearby regions, or national events; and there are also numerous scrapbooks by named individuals with items of personal interest.

Abstract:: This collection contains a volume about "The 6," a group of six members of the class of 1934 that kept in contact with one another after graduating. There are records of their dinners between 1930 and 1971. This volume includes correspondence, newspaper clipppings, a map, wedding invitations, and pictures. A folder with correspondence pertaining to the Haverford fund and to Class of 1934 alumni is also included.

Abstract:: The Ernest Bailey scrapbooks consist of nine volumes containing clippings and pictures related to Haverford College, taken from a variety of national and local newspapers. A majority of clippings and pictures pertain to Haverford athletics, although there are many others that address academic matters; the affairs of alumni, faculty, and students; and noteworthy happenings in the Philadelphia metropolitan area. The scrapbook compiles materials spanning the years 1920-1933.

Abstract:: The collection consists of a scrapbook which contains photographs from Mr. and Mrs. Seeley's work-related travels through South America and newspaper clippings informing about the trip. The photographs are of landscape, cities, national monuments, life on the ship (their mode of transport), George Seeley, his wife and their associates, including John C. Cohill. They were taken in New York, Sao Paulo, Pernambuco, Buenos Aires and Córdoba (Argentina). The collection also contains a letter written by Mrs. Seeley in Buenos Aires addressed to her mother.

Abstract:: The collection is composed of three scrapbooks compiled by Sarah Coates Harris, Quaker reformer and naturalist of Galena, Illinois. Scrapbook 1 contains newspaper clippings that reflect Harris' activities in horticultural, temperance, suffrage, and other civic endeavors as well as biographical information about her husband and local history. Scrapbook 2 contains botanical cards organized by the month of flowering and a small number of images of the Gould Mine in Nevada. Scrapbook 3 contains her collection of lithographed trade and greeting cards.
