Collection Inventory
A program to commemorate Thomas Mann was organized by Professor John Cary with a recital by the Juilliard Quartet. A dinner that included the presidents of Bryn Mawr, Swarthmore and Haverford Colleges, members of the German embassy and others was arranged. The event was sponsored by Caroline Newton.
This file includes a program for the Commemoration Ceremony in Roberts Hall, an RSVP card to a talk held during the ceremony, a letter discussing which German Professors to invite, a second RSVP card for the Robert's Hall event, a list of attendees, a request for disability acommodations for a speaker, two documents pertaining to the performance of the Juilliard Quartert at the commemoration, a letter confirming a payment to the College from one of the speakers, and a letter from Hugh Borton thanking Professor Cary for putting the commemoration together.
