Abstract:
This collection contains the papers of the Young Friends Movement, dating between 1916 and 1997. Included in the collection are materials published by the Young Friends, including their montly newspaper "The Quake," correspondence between members, and the papers of Clarence Pickett, the former secretary of the Young Friends Movement and executive secretary of the American Friends Service Committee, both relating to his time with the Young Friends and his time with the AFSC.

The Friends Council on Education is a force in Quaker education, serving Friends' schools in an advisory, consultative, and nurturing capacity, developing mutual understanding and support among its institutions. The records include minutes and reports, 1930-1974; financial records, 1962-1983; executive committee records, 1936-1970; conference papers, 1940-1972; surveys and reports, 1930-1978; and publications, 1931-1966. Additionally included are the records of a number of subcommittees and groups related to Friends Council on Education.

John F. Headly scrapbook, 1924-1983 (inclusive)

Abstract:
This volume is a yearbook from the class of 1924, with images and clippings inside pertaining to their class reunions and the activities of John F. Headly. This book was brought to their 35th and 40th reunions and autographed. Annotations were also added to the book up until 1983, indicating which of the members of that class had passed away. For some of the alumni, a picture of them from these reunions was taped above their photo from 1924 in the yearbook. The scrapbook also includes correspondence and photographs from these reunions. There are also notes inside the yearbook when Headly is mentioned, including the story of how he met his wife, Dorothy Folwell Irwin Headly.

Steven Gerber papers, 1945-2015 (inclusive)

Abstract:
Steven R. Gerber (1948-2015) was an American classical composer. After studying music at Haverford College and Princeton University, he went on to compose a number of pieces for chamber, orchestra, choir, voice, and solo instruments. He is especially known for the frequency with which his works have been performed in Russia, where he participated in several musical tours in the 1990s. This collection contains materials related to Gerber's musical compositions, business, and personal life. This collection contains five series: "Compositions," "Business," "Personal," "Other Composers," and "Audiovisual." The first series is comprised of many sketches, drafts, and copies of his compositions. The business part of the collection also contains assorted documents such as publishing agreements, publicity documents, and Gerber's own analytical writings related to music. This collection contains records created by the Women's Center at Haverford College. The materials begin in the 1970s during the creation of the center and extend through to 2019. Included in this collection are materials about the history of the Women's Center and coeducation at Haverford, log books kept by the staff members, posters about their events, publications they created such as Herstory and newsletters, information sheets about sex and other topics, and some photographs.
