Abstract:: The Old York Road Contemporary Club was organized in 1934 by a group of women who broke away from the Woman’s Club of Jenkintown "because they wished to follow a format of current event study including World Affairs." The Club’s motto was "Getting together is a beginning, Keeping together is progress, Working together is success." The Old York Road Contemporary Club records, 1939-1992, consist of minutes, financial records, scrapbooks, and photographs.
