Abstract:
This collection contains photographs, letters, documents, and pamphlets regarding Rolla Foley's musical career in the Near East between 1939-1945. He had various roles throughout music performances and festivals, most often compiling and editting the music, but also conducting on occasion. These festivals include the 1941 Palestine Children's Music Festival, the 1943 Children's Music Festival, the 1943 Syrian Students' Music Festival, the 1944-1945 Near East Music Festival, and the 1945 Folk Music Festival that took place in Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, and the former Tranjordan. This collection also contains 1979 letters regarding Foley's career and works during his lifetime.

Abstract:
This collection consists of Quaker music written by David Proskauer. It contains both handwritten and printed works, notably A Young Woman's Quaker Life, which feautures the poem Barbara Fretchie by John Greenleaf Whittier, and Proskauer's Quaker Voices: A Cantata, which features poems such as First Day Thoughts by John Greenleaf Whittier, Draw Breath by Geoffrey Weedon, Psalm 139 v. 1-7, Sonnet for a Quaker Wedding by Kenneth Boulding, and Faith by John Gould Fletcher. He's also included various handwritten works of his, such as A Living Silence, The Pacifist, The Light Within, and At the Foot of Monument Mountain.

Abstract:
Steven R. Gerber (1948-2015) was an American classical composer. After studying music at Haverford College and Princeton University, he went on to compose a number of pieces for chamber, orchestra, choir, voice, and solo instruments. He is especially known for the frequency with which his works have been performed in Russia, where he participated in several musical tours in the 1990s. This collection contains materials related to Gerber's musical compositions, business, and personal life. This collection contains five series: "Compositions," "Business," "Personal," "Other Composers," and "Audiovisual." The first series is comprised of many sketches, drafts, and copies of his compositions. The business part of the collection also contains assorted documents such as publishing agreements, publicity documents, and Gerber's own analytical writings related to music.
