- Abstract:
- Henrietta Magoffin attended Bryn Mawr, graduating in 1911. From the 1962 Alumnae Bulletin: "She was a lifelong resident of Mercer, PA, whose Historical Society Museum was the family homestead built by her grandfather in 1821, and donated to the town by Henrietta. Her interests and activity in its behalf were extended to other organizations, the Red Cross, from whom she received a citation, the Library, and the United Presbyterian Church of which she was a member. She continued her interest in languages and the classics throughout her life." Magoffin passed away on November 8, 1961. The Henrietta Magoffin scrapbook houses Magoffin's "The Girl Graduate, Her Own Book" scrapbook. The scrapbook covers the years from 1907-1914, and contains a lot of well-organized Bryn Mawr-related and personal memorabilia.
