Overview and metadata sections
London Grove Monthly Meeting was established in 1792 by Western Quarterly Meeting out of New Garden Monthly Meeting. At the time of the Hicksite Separation of 1827, the monthly meeting split into Hicksite and Orthodox branches.
London Grove Monthly Meeting (Orthodox) was discontinued in 1944, and its members were attached to New Garden Monthly Meeting (Orthodox) in West Grove, Pa.
London Grove Monthly Meeting (Hicksite) was the forerunner of the current monthly meeting.
This collection contains a variety of black and white photographs of life in the meeting in the 1950s. There is also a folder from the 200th Anniversary in 1914.
