Ella Kent Barnard was born in 1853, the only daughter of Mary Anna Kent and John Barnard. She was a Quaker and the author of three books: Daniel Kent, Emigrant, The Maulsby Genealogy, and Dorothy Payne, Quakeress. The Maulsby family were Pennsylvania Quakers, based at least for a time in Plymouth.

This collection contains pictures related to The Maulsby Genealogy. There are pictures of Maulsby family members, such as Thomas Augustus Maulsby, and pictures of places important to the Maulsby family. There are also pictures of meeting houses and some relevant postcards written to Ella Kent Barnard, along with other small pieces of writing.

This collection is arranged in sleeves in a single box.
