Madeline H. Petrillo received her R.N. Nursing Diploma from Park Avenue Hospital School of Nursing, her B.S.N. Ed. in Education from the University of Rochester and her M.Ed. in Mental Health Consultation/Psychiatric Nursing from Columbia University Teachers College.
As co-author of Emotional Care of Hospitalized Children, she received the American Journal of Nursing Book of the Year award in Pediatrics in 1972 and again in 1980.
Madeline is a nationally known speaker in the field if pediatric mental health. Her workshop presentations around the country have focused on the many psychosocial aspects of pediatric care. She has a broad background of pediatric experience in education, nursing, clinical supervision, staff development, mental health consultation and administration.
