Founded in 1936, the Syracuse Peace Council is a New York State peace action organization which produces a monthly newsletter and, in the past, series of radio broadcasts, study discussion groups, and political actions such as letter writing campaigns to Congress. The Council has worked in collaboration with the New York State Peace Council, the Fellowship of Reconciliation, the American Friends Service Committee, and the National Council for Prevention of War.

The Swarthmore College Peace Collection is not the official repository for the records of this organization.
