Overview and metadata sections

Quaker House is part of Haverford College community housing. It is an intentional community driven by Quaker values (Peace, Activism, Simplicity, Integrity, Community, Equality, and Stewardship) and exploration of Quakerism. They organize various events, from community meals to movie nights, both to foster exploration of Quaker values and create a relationship with and entertainment for the wider campus.

This collection consists of 31 images and documents related to the organization and function of the Haverford College community house Quaker House. The majority of this collection consists of posters for events hosted by the house, and subsequent images from these events, but also included are a number of meeting notes from house meetings and emails sent either to house members or the wider College community. There are also a number of documents and images related to the application to live in Quaker House, including testimonials from students who have lived there before. Various members of the house are shown in pictures, often masked.
