Abstract:

J. Lindley Spicer's scrapbook is largely comprised of photos and printed images of Quakers, meeting houses, meetings for worship, and Quaker missions in Mexico, Africa, Palestine, and China. The volume also includes a number of clipped newspaper articles on various Quaker leaders. Inside the scrapbook is an index of photos and clippings.

J. Lindley Spicer (?-1928) was born at an unknown date. He married Phebe Bryan Washburne on September 18, 1885, and died on May 18, 1928.

This collection is comprised of a single volume scrapbook compiled by J. Lindley Spicer.
