The diary of George A. Selleck's trip from his home in Kansas to England to attend the Friend's Peace Conference as a delegate. Upon his arrival in England, entries describe sight seeing, largely in Devonshire, as well as Friends visited and Meetings attended.

Francis Anscombe's dissertation, "The Contribution of the Quakers to the Reconstruction of the Southern States," was written in partial fulfillment of the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the department of history and government at the University of North Carolina. Abstract:
Frank O. Wargny's 1947 master's thesis at John Hopkins University, entitled "Education of the Freedmen by Baltimore Quakers during the Civil War and Reconstruction Period," describes the efforts of Philadelphia and Baltimore area Quakers to provide education to freed slaves during and after the Civil War. It provides a brief history of Philadelphia area Quakers' abolition efforts prior to the Civil War, including the work of Benezet and Woolman, but the majority of the manuscript focuses on the years during the Civil War and Reconstruction. The volume includes the following chapters: Preliminaries, Efforts of Philadelphia Orthodox Friends, Efforts of Philadelphia Hicksite Friends, The Baltimore Association for the moral and educational Improvement of the Colored People, and Teaching the Freedmen.

John Woolman Memorial Association records, 1915-1937

Abstract:
The John Woolman Memorial Association was founded in 1915 by Amelia Mott Gummere. It operates out of a historic house in Mount Holly, New Jersey, where John Woolman's family lived, and where their apple orchard once existed. According to its by-laws, its purpose was "the preservation of John Woolman's house [...], for the purpose of social service in the spirit of John Woolman and for antiquarian interest." It is still a working organization today. This collection contains one volume of records, mostly minutes from the John Woolman Memorial Association. It spans from its start in 1915, finishing with dedication to the death of Amelia Mott Gummere, founder of the Association, in 1937.
