Abstract:: The Quad Council of Public Nursing Organizations provides leadership, voice and visibility for public health nurses through setting a national policy agenda on issues related to public health nursing. The Quad Council is comprised of representatives from four organizations: Association of Public Health Nurses (APHN); Association of Community Health Nursing Educators (ACHNE); Public Health Nursing Section of the American Public Health Association (PHN - APHA); and the American Nurses Association Council on Nursing Practice and Economics (ANA). The collection is categorized into three general series of materials: School of Nursing, Programs, and Teaching. Together, they offer insight into her academic work, particularly her teaching, historical research, and Buhler-Wilkerson's interest in the LIFE program.
