Abstract:: Dr. Ellwood L. Drake (1873-1962) was a physician in the Northeast section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from the late 19th century to the mid-20th century. The Elwood L. Drake scrapbooks, 1932-1950, consist of scrapbooks that document the social and professional activities of Ellwood Drake and contain ephemera such as greeting cards, programs, ticket stubs, menus, and business cards, as well as letters and newspaper clippings that mention events he attended. Several pages in the scrapbooks have annotations by Drake.

Abstract:: Kuhn Real Estate, Inc. was based in Jenkintown, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. The Kuhn Real Estate Inc. records, circa 1960-1995, document various residential properties throughout Montgomery County and far northeastern Philadelphia County. The collection includes promotional sheets, sale records and deed transactions arranged by county and address.

Abstract:: The Frankford News Gleaner was a community newspaper founded in 1882 by George W. Henry to serve the neighborhood of Frankford in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The News Gleaner grew to serve greater Northeast Philadelphia and later became known as the Northeast News Gleaner. The paper was owned and operated by the Henry family until it was sold to the Journal Register Company in 2002. At the end of 2008, the paper ceased operations. The Northeast News Gleaner records, circa 1970s-2007, consist primarily of photographs used for publication in the Northeast News Gleaner. It also includes negatives; financial records, circa 1970s-2000s; and about 75 whole issues of the News Gleaner, circa 1970s-1980s. There is also a small portion of materials, circa 1990s-2000s, from Nicetown Life, a small local publication serving the Nicetown neighborhood of North Philadelphia.

Abstract:: Joseph Waln Ryerss built Burholme as his summer house in 1859, and upon his death he left it to his son, Robert Waln Ryerss (1831-1896). Robert's will stipulated that Burholme could be occupied by his wife, Mary Ann, but should eventually be turned over to the City of Philadelphia. The Ryerss Museum and Library was opened to the public in 1910 under the administration of the Fairmount Park Commission. The Burholme Mansion architectural drawings, 1978-1980, comprise approximately 40 architectural and shop drawings for a restoration of Burholme Mansion.

Abstract:: Wissinoming is a neighborhood of lower Northeast Philadelphia, located just north of Frankford. The Wissinoming Historical Society was active in the early 1990s to early 2000s. The Wissinoming Historical Society display boards on Northeast Philadelphia history, circa 1990s-2000s, consist of display boards created by the Wissinoming Historical Society on the Frankford Yellow Jackets football team, the history of the neighborhood of Wissinoming, local schools, and a local Boy Scouts troop.

The Frankford Ministry Group records, 1992-2009, consist of financial and administrative records, ephemera, photographs, and research materials produced by the Frankford Ministry Group.
