The Cox, Ross, and Robinson families were important Pennsylvania families active in early Philadelphia and Bucks Counties, and later in the development of Hatboro in Montgomery County. The Cox-Robinson-Ross family papers, 1669-1980, include letters, financial and property records, business papers, photographs, scrapbooks, architectural drawings, and research materials documenting several generations.

Willoughby H. Reed (b. 1856) was a doctor, pharmacist, and historian who lived in Norristown, Pennsylvania. His father-in-law, Samuel F. Jarrett (1825-1917), was the County Treasurer for Montgomery County, and a farmer. The Dr. W. H. Reed family papers, 1864-1939, include genealogical research on the Reed family by W. H. Reed, as well as personal papers of W. H. Reed and S. F. Jarrett.
