- Abstract:
- Pierre Pechin, a French Huguenot, came to the United States in 1754. His family were prosperous tanners who lived and worked in the Lower Merion area of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. Centuries later, family members formed a group, the Descendants of Pierre Pechin, which met annually for memorial services and reunions at St. Paul's Church. The Descendants of Pierre Pechin papers, circa 1870-1969, consist of photographs, newspaper clippings, a scrapbook of obituaries, and pamphlets for the annual memorial service and family reunion.
