Abstract:: Oliver "Jack" Thompson joined the U.S. Army in 1942, and served under General Douglas MacArthur during the Occupation of Japan from 1946-1956. During the Military Tribunal for the Far East (IMTFE), Thompson served in the Public Information Office as a 1st Lieutenant. The collection largely consists of judgements, summation documents, and opinions from the IMTFE.
