Abstract:

Initially established in 1890 as the Wayne Municipal Association, the Wayne Public Safety Association was officially incorporated in 1891, at which time it also changed its name. The Association is committed to protecting the property and citizens in the South Wayne neighborhood of Wayne, Pennsylvania, and also encourages appropriate development of the area through various programs and activities. The Wayne Public Safety Association records, 1890-1987 (bulk 1891-1940), contain administrative and financial records, as well printed material, correspondence, and other materials relating to the organization.
