- Abstract:
- Towamencin Township is a suburb of Philadelphia located in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. One of the township's gems is the Morgan Log House, a meticulously restored example of early domestic architecture on land first settled in 1708. The Welsh Valley Preservation Society local history collection, 1795-1945, contains various documents and photographs found by the preservation society while restoring the Morgan Log House, as well as some donated items. There are several folders of deeds and properties in and around Towamencin Township, 1795-1929, as well as some school photographs, circa 1910-1945, and some photographs of the Morgan Log House.
