Abstract:
John Reynolds appears to have been a farmer in Bassingham in Lincolnshire, England in the first half of the 19th century. This volume contains mathematical exercises and examples applied to the building trade from around 1802; the Bassingham Sunday School Library rules (penned by Reynolds in 1816), and Reynolds's farm accounts from 1816 to 1820. The volume provides a glimpse into the life of an educated farmer who was active in his community and church.

This collection of twelve photographs from his studio at 1324 Chestnut St. in Philadelphia depicts various buildings and scenes around Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The Hopkinson family was a prominent political family of Philadelphia and Bordentown. Descendants include: merchants, lawyers, diplomats, authors, musicians, soldiers, congressmen and a signer to the Declaration of Independence. The Hopkinson family papers comprise original documents as well as reproductions of: biographical and genealogical research, clippings, certificates, correspondence, diaries, indexes, wills and estate documents, photographs, sheet music, school and birth records, and report cards. Orignal materials primarily document the life and career of Edward Hopkinson Jr. (1885-1966).

Ritter family recipe book, 1810, 1814, 1844 (inclusive)

Abstract:
Jacob Ritter (1754-1834) was a merchant, who seems to have imported and sold drugs and other pharmaceutical products. Isaac, George, and Benjamin Isaac Ritter were his sons. This volume contains copies of 50 medicinal recipes originally created and compiled by Isaac Ritter and his father, Jacob Ritter, in 1810 and 1813. At the time of Jacob Ritter's estate settlement, the recipes were copied into this volume in 1844 by Benjamin Isaac Ritter and received by George Ritter the same year. Jacob Ritter (1754-1834) was a merchant, who seems to have imported and sold drugs and other pharmaceutical products. Isaac, George, and Benjamin Isaac Ritter were his sons.
