Abstract:: Annie Warburton Goodrich is best known for establishing the United States Student Nurse Reserve, more commonly known as the Army School of Nursing, in 1918-1919. She later became the first dean of the Yale University School of Nursing. Her papers include files of organizations with which she associated, biographical material, miscellaneous documents, and photographs. The collection also includes a typed manuscript of Harriett Rose (Berger) Koch's biography, America's Militant Angel.

Abstract:: This collection consists of notes taken by Mary V. Clymer, a nurse famous for her appearance in Thomas Eakins' painting "The Agnew Clinic." Clymer was a student at the Training School for Nurses at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA, from 1888 to 1889. The notes documented the variety of experiences which were part of her educational program.
