Lloyd Wells was the co-owner of Hill Hardware. He founded with others the Chestnut Hill Development Group, was president of the Chestnut Hill Community Association, the Chestnut Hill Realty Trust, and more. The Lloyd Wells Collection contains papers, clippings, and periodicals concerning Chestnut Hill history from the early 20th century to the 1990s.
