Abstract:

Kiwanis Club is an international, co-educational service club founded in 1915 in Detroit, Michigan, which commits volunteer hours to serve children and strengthen communities. The Kiwanis club of Jenkintown was chartered in 1949 through the sponsorship of the Kiwanis Club of Glenside. The Kiwanis Club of Jenkintown records are a gift of the club, consisting of 13 linear feet of material housed in 32 boxes. The collection spans from 1949 to 2014 and comprises chronological files, administrative records, financial, and membership records, as well as publications and memorabilia.
