- Abstract:
- Little is known about the owner of this album, Alexander Fullerton Huston. Huston probably lived in Pennsylvania in the mid to late 19th century and possibly practiced law. This volume is dated roughly to the 1870s and contains engravings and photographs of European and American royalty, leaders, explorers, scientists, philosophers, and actors. It is divided into thirteen sections, each one being defined by a geographic region. Within these sections, there are engravings and photographs of the most influential people of that area presented in chronological order.
