Abstract:
Lansdale, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania became a boom town during the mid-19th century when a junction of the North Pennsylvania Railroad was established where the center of the town is now located. The Borough of Lansdale was incorporated on August 24, 1872. This collection, which documents the history of Lansdale, its organizations, and residents, consists of various scrapbooks, pamphlets, newspaper clippings, photograph albums, deeds, letters, primary source documents relating to particular organizations, and other miscellaneous materials.

The Reporter is a local newspaper based out of Lansdale, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania since 1870. It was sold to Gannett Corporation in 1980, and then sold again to the Journal Register Company in 2001. "The Reporter" photograph negatives, 1989-2000, consist of images captured by The Reporter staff photographers for use in newspaper stories. It contains film strip and color slide negatives.
