Abstract:

William E. Durrwachter (1911-2003) was a long-time member of the Edge Hill Fire Company and involved in many Montgomery County (Pennsylvania) area fire-fighter organizations. The William E. Durrwachter Collection, 1940-2002, is primarily made up of records, histories, photographs, clippings, and certificates related to various fire-fighting organizations throughout the area. There is also one scrapbook about Durrwachter's involvement with the Republican Party, 1945-1980.
