This is a finding aid. It is a description of archival material held at the Friends Historical Library of Swarthmore College. Unless otherwise noted, the materials described below are physically available in their reading room, and not digitally available through the web.

Overview and metadata sections

Contains autograph books, scrapbooks, and albums donated to College Archives.

Scrapbooks and albums are listed in the finding aid in two series: (1) Individual students' scrapbooks and albums, listed chronologically based on graduation class of the creator; and (2) Other scrapbooks and albums.

The collection is not physically organized according to this scheme. Rather, the scrapbooks and albums are stored in boxes according to the order in which they were received by the Friends Historical Library.

This collection was collected informally by Friends Historical Library as part of College Archives. In 2004 a draft inventory was created. In 2013, the inventory was reviewed and item descriptions expanded. Three notebooks of Aubrey Edward Fox, 1915 and 1922, concerning mechanical engineering were transferred to RGR/Papers of Individual Alumni.
