Pauline Marshall was a Serial Specialist in McCabe Library of Swarthmore College and active on college staff committees. She retired in the late 1990s.
This collection contains administrative papers from the Equal Opportunity Action Committee at the Swarthmore College, which was founded in 1973 and had a faculty branch and a staff branch. The committee collected data on women and minorities working at Swarthmore College and made reports at faculty meetings, etc. The folders also contain documents and newspaper articles on the suit brought against the College by Barbara Presseisen in 1976.
Chronological: the first folder spans 1971-1979 and the second goes from 1980 to 1990.
