Alson D. Van Wagner was born October 11, 1915. A graduate of the Oakwood School and Earlham College, he operated a poultry business on the family farm in Dutchess County, N.Y. After retirement, Alson and Irene Van Wagner opened a camera shop and pursued their interests in Quaker concerns and local history. Van Wagner concerning two New York Yearly Meeting publications, Quaker Crosscurrents: Three Hundred Years of Friends in the New York Yearly Meeting, published in 1995, and New York Yearly Meeting Directory 1993.
