Picard was a French playwright, actor, poet, novelist, and music director. He began his career in the theater as an actor before writing his first play. He married Victoria Longchamps.
Handwritten copy of a one-act play. This play is the third part of Picard's trilogy entitled Le Passé, Le Présent, L'Avenir, which was first performed at the Théâtre de la Nation on 30 July 1791.
