Overview and metadata sections
N. Hayward and Jno Patmore appraised the household of Mr. Robert Tabrum at Fanns Farm in the Parrish of Avely, in Essex, England, at the time of sale to Mr. Thomas Woodthorpe on September 21, 1805. This volume also includes writing samples from Ann Wolford who wrote her name in the notebook in 1805.
The bulk of this volume contains an inventory of items in the household of Robert Tabrum. It is largely organized by spaces, including attics, bed chambers, the drawing room, the dining parlor, the breakfast parlor, the kitchen, the dairy, the brewhouse, the cellar, the wine cellar, the yard, the garden, and the farm house. Following the inventory, there is an inventory of stock and an account of work done on the farm during the seek of September 29, 1805. There is also a series of handwriting exercises, presumably by Ann Wolford. The volume is bound in paper covers, with an engraving of a castle on the back cover. The date, 1780, is recorded on the back cover in manuscript hand, but there does not appear to be any content from that date.
