One of the recipes in this volume is attributed to the Betty Crocker program, a radio broadcast for cooking advice that aired between 1924 and 1953 on various networks, including local broadcasts, NBC, CBS, and ABC.
This volume contains a recipe for devil's food cake, which was first printed in 1902 in Mrs. Rorer's new cook book by Sarah Rorer.
