Overview and metadata sections

A slim volume with marbled paper covers comprising culinary recipes written by H. Leaver of England in 1822. Cookery recipes include cakes, jams, jellies, picklings, puddings, and wines. There is a recipe for cheese fondue and a couple of recipes using damsons (plums). A medicinal remedy for a cough is included. One recipe for punch is attributed to Jenny Dale. Written on inside front cover: H. Leaver, July 17, 1822.
