A volume without covers consisting of seven hand-sewn bifolia with twenty-eight numbered pages. The volume is comprised of lecture notes recorded by an unknown student from April to October, 1834. The lectures were delivered by Dr. Charles Delucena Meigs, who practiced and taught obstetrics in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The handwritten notes regard gynecology and obstetrics. They include topics on female anatomy, diseases, and pregnancy.
