Alfred Hector Williams (1893-1974) received his B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1915, and his Ph.D from Penn in 1924. He was a professor of industry at the Wharton School, and dean from 1939-1941. Williams was president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia from 1941-1958. He was also a life trustee of the University of Pennsylvania.
The Alfred H. Williams Papers consists of Williams correspondence files, and files related to the University of Pennsylvania.
