Jesse Nayhouse was an attorney and high school teacher. He attended the University of Pennsylvania where he received his B.S. (1923), LL.B. (1926), M.S. (1938), and A.M. (1947).

Includes his student notebooks containing lecture notes (1935-1950); outlines and syllabi for graduate history courses taken by Nayhouse; research papers and bibliography cards prepared to satisfy course requirements; also memorabilia.
