Emil Dorenenberg received his Ph.D from teh University of Pennsylvania in 1919, and served on the faculty from 1919-1930 as a professor of German and German literature. He was also a poet.

Correspondence, manuscripts of poems, essays and a book on German lyric poets; also memorabilia.
