Overview and metadata sections

Zeta Psi was founded at New York University in 1847 and its Sigma chapter was established at Penn in 1850, making it one of Penn's oldest fraternities. It is the national organization's fifth chapter and has remained in continuous existence since the 1870s after a brief period of inactivity.

The Zeta Psi Scrapbook consist of 24 group photographs from the early twentieth century. The majority are studio photographs, with a few outdoor shots. Some of the outdoor shots are located in front of what is now the Fisher Fine Arts Library. Of note, one photo depicts freshmen with dinks, while another was taken at the Hotel Astor on May 8, 1908.

The Zeta Psi scrapbook is in its original order.
