Emilie Mulholland (1904-1986) was associate vice president for university relations at Temple University. Prior to working at Temple, she held positions with the Philadelphia Athletics and Pittsburgh Pirates baseball teams.
This is a collection of baseball memorabilia collected by Emilie Mulholland. Materials include: scorecards (mostly kept by hand in notebooks); photographs; season schedules and programs; fan guides and fact books; ticket stubs and press passes; autograph albums and scrapbooks; three editions of the Alex Kellner fan club newsletter; photo album (circa 1949-1950) of the Philadelphia Athletics, including informal pictures of the team; clippings and issues of newspapers and magazines; signed baseballs; jerseys; a small collection of ceramic, glass, wood, and metal elephant figurines (the elephant being the mascot of the Philadelphia Athletics); charm bracelets; framed drawings and photographs of team members, playing fields, and members of team management; various other team artifacts; and correspondence with her family and with baseball organizations.
