Examples of business cards for 19th century British and American tradesmen in watch making, silversmithing, clock repairing, jewelry and clothing merchandising. The cards are of varied designs and sizes. The card for Eyre and Landell is printed on piece of silk with picture of the store, located at 4th and Arch Streets in Philadelphia. Other cards are from stores in Albany (N.Y.), Boston, London, Newcastle, and Bath, England.
