The Golden Cockerel Press was a private English fine press, creating handmade limited editions of classic works with hand-set type, which operated between 1920 and 1961.

Correspondence between Robert and Moira Gibbings of the Golden Cockerel Press, Bennett Cerf of Random House, and bookseller M. F. Klingel on production, purchasing, and ordering of Golden Cockerel Press books, including their Beowulf, Four Gospels, Paradise Lost, Red Badge of Courage, Troilus and Criseyde, and others. Includes a photograph of a sculpture by Robert Gibbings, receipts for books ordered, and a scrap of leather.

Correspondence arranged chronologically, with receipts at end.
