An account book kept by Diego de Salzedo, the Spanish royal treasury official in Peru in charge of the mint at Cuzco, documenting revenue received and payments made on behalf of the King of Spain for the year 1571, and tributes or "royal fifths" levied against the native people of the Spanish colony.
Limp vellum with bands of leather.
Purchased from Sotheby's, November 17, 1970.
