William J. Hoerner was born in New Orleans on Feb. 12, 1874 and he died on Oct. 26, 1965. Hoerner worked as an engraver, a lithographer, and a commercial artist. Between 1891 and 1916 Hoerner worked for T. Fitzwilliams as an engraver and at Dameron-Pierson until 1918.
